The Alta Vista Analysis Group is led by David A. Schwickerath. David has approximately 27 years of experience in litigation consulting, providing expert testimony and consulting services. David has experience on matters in connection with breach of contract, shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent conveyance, bankruptcy, and fraud. David has analyzed a variety of companies and industries, including mining, high-tech, financial institutions, information technology, casinos, medical technology, and real estate. He has analyzed accounting, economic, and financial issues related to valuation, lost profits, deepening insolvency, stock options, complex partnerships, accounting investigations, as well as forensic record reconstruction.
David has testified extensively in U.S. State, Federal, and Bankruptcy courts, in addition to arbitrations and mediations. He recently testified in one of the largest fraudulent conveyance and bankruptcy proceedings in U.S. history.
David holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from Arizona State University and a B.A. from the University of Iowa. He is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers.
Previously, David was a Vice President in the Phoenix office of The Kenrich Group LLC, a business and litigation consulting firm. Prior to joining The Kenrich Group, David was a Director with Navigant Consulting, Inc.; a founding Vice President with Tucker Alan, Inc.; and a Principal with Peterson Consulting, all litigation consulting firms.
